Bozburun is where Turkish gulets are still built. The yards along the waterfront have been turning out wooden schooners for generations, and most of the boats you see anchored in the bay were made within walking distance of where they float.
Our Bozburun fleet is entirely traditional gulets, 24 to 32 metres, sleeping twelve to sixteen guests across six to eight cabins. These are the right boats for a group taking a week and moving slowly — wide decks, shaded aft seating, and a crew who cook on board.
From here the Hisarönü Gulf and the Datça peninsula open up: Selimiye, Bozukkale, Dirsekbükü and Karacasöğüt, all quieter than the Bodrum bays even in August.
